06 Sep Brandi + Dustin {Married}
Even though it rained and we had to move the ceremony inside, it turned out to be a great day for Brandi and Dustin's wedding. The reception was still held at Dustin's parents house by a quaint pond and it was just lovely. They did a first look so it was great to spend some time with them before the storms moved in. Brandi was surrounded by so much love and support as the rain fell and torn apart the reception. A few tears were shed, but she got right back up and enjoyed the rest of the day.:) The sun was fully shining by the time evening came and a great time was had by all!
22 Aug Betsy + David {Married}
Although the clouds hung heavy and the rained poured, we were able to get some awesome shots for Betsy and Dave's wedding! The sun peaked out for just enough time after the ceremony for us to have some fun outside and duck into Bells Brewery as the storm raged on. Betsy and Dave are such a chill and fun couple, full of expressions and laughs. I especially liked their pie instead of cake or cupcakes. Everyone was served their own mini pie, which was so awesome. Rose Street Market did a wonderful job of catering the reception. It was an honor to share the day with these two!
08 Aug Kylee {3 Years Old}
Kylee is growing up so fast and also to be quite the little ham. She is absolutely adorable and just loves the dogs to pieces. We had such a great time playing tea party and she is finally starting to warm up to me. She gave me so many real laughs and smiles this time instead of looking at me like I was speaking a foreign language. It was a blast, as always!
05 Aug Sarah + Eric {Married}
It was a super hot and super fabulous day for Eric and Sarah's wedding on Lake Michigan. Sarah and Eric were introduced to each other through one of Sarah's long time friends, Hannah, and the wedding was on family property in Douglas, MI. It was so perfect as they cleared out the Dune Grass where the ceremony took place. Sarah was super chill and neither of them seemed too nervous at all, just ready to begin their lives together. They were super sweet and so fun. It was a pleasure to share their day!
01 Aug Liz + Ryan {Married}
It was a super fabulous and warm, sunny day for Liz and Ryan at the Post Family Farms in Hudsonville, MI. Liz was so full of energy and just all around excited to finally be able to wear her dress and tie the knot. Ryan's crew of guys was no exception as they were full of silly and fun ideas, including Ryan riding the zip line. Ryan said that marrying Liz was going to be the easy part after dealing with his groomsmen and their crazy ideas. It was super fun though, to say the least! I was honored to be a part of their celebration.
21 Jul Carrie + Jose {Married}
Carrie and Jose are such a sweet and simple couple. Carrie grew up in Allegan so the ceremony took place on her old stomping grounds with many of her high school and childhood friends. Jose's family is Spanish so I think it was a bit of an adjustment being a part of an American wedding. It was so fun to watch them. Jose is so attentive to Carrie's every move. His adoration for her shines through in every photo. It was such a gorgeous day and I was so honored to be a part of it!
