Amanda and Brad had a beautiful day for their wedding and rang in the first of September with a sparkle. The lush greens and purples were just perfect for their personalities. It was so fun being a part of their day and capturing the moments and emotions and they unfolded. We had a bit of rain, but nothing that held us back as the downtown riverfront offered a beautiful backdrop for their photos. I wish these two many years of happiness, laughs, tears and love. Congratulations!

Jenna and Chris' wedding was filled with such fun details! This was a destination wedding as neither one of their families are from the area at all! Their dog, Maverick, really stole the show with his tux and his handsome demeanor. He is such a great dog and so loving! He had a great time being the center of attention. Although the day was hot, Jenna and Chris made it a lovely one! Congratulations!

We've definitely been battling the heat here in Michigan this year - but it's not stopping some fabulous photo session from happening! This family is near and dear and amazingly sweet. Heather, the sister of a former bride, contacted me to do some family photos at their childhood lake home and I couldn't have been more delighted! Her father delivered me from the hospital - so my don't we all feel old these days? It was so great to see Margo and Jon again and to see how much these little munchkins have grown!

Alyssa was stunningly awesome for her senior session! We just beat the heat and got them finished up before the weather turned super hot and the result was pretty awesome.

Abbigail and Hannah are such a sweet little duo. Big sister always looking out for her lil sister.:) Little eleven month old Abbigail was on the brink of taking her first step at our session so that was so much fun! She stood for the longest time! Had a great time with these little girls. Cousin Alex also tagged along and kept the girls in line.:)

It was such a joy to have the whole family together to capture some fun shots. The Brummels are a super fun family and the kids definitely kept us entertained.
