My girl is obsessed with animals right now, so we spent all of our time in the animal barns at the Allegan County Fair this year. I learned that she likes apple cider!

Sloane was such a sweet little trooper for her one year pictures on such a hot and muggy day. She is such a chill little girl and goes with the flow. She didn’t mind the grass at all and had a fun time exploring. Can I just gush at her little rolls?! AH! These babies are just the best with so much to love and kiss! Her mom and dad just love her to pieces and I would say the definitely shows in their photos!

Kelly and Cameron Engaged

It was such a pleasure meeting Kelly and Cameron for their engagement photos. I met up with them at Kelly’s family home, and we had so much scenery to explore from the lake to the goats to the pond to the grapevines. Our possibilities were endless. I love nature and all it brings. Kelly and Cameron have such a sweet, young and innocent love between them. They are so carefree and ready for whatever life brings to them as a couple. I love their laid back personalities and their all around love for the country. I’m so looking forward to their wedding next year!

Baby Jameson was such a little sweetie for his newborn photos. I met up with Amy and Josh at their home in Allegan so we had all the comforts that we needed for this little dude. I especially LOVED how their dog was such a trooper. He just rolls with it. Amy and Josh are making the transition into parenthood beautifully. I can’t wait to see this little man grow up. It’s so amazing how fast it happens!

It was a pleasure photographing the Herr family in South Haven. They rented out the Lamb Lake Guesthouse, which was absolutely beautiful. It was the perfect set up for such a large family! It was a crazy hot day by the lakeshore so we tried for quite a few photos inside for the sake of the kiddos. After we spent our time in the air conditioning we walked down to the bluff to capture Lake Michigan in the background. While the kids weren’t all smiles all the time at the same time, we still got some great photos. It’s so nice when families can get together and bond from afar.

Jenna + Chris {Engaged}

Jenna and Chris are such a down to earth and chillax couple. I was pretty excited that they brought their adorable and gorgeous pup along too! They traveled a long distance into South Haven on probably the windiest day ever this fall! Thankfully we bypassed the super huge waves and wind gusts as we explored a trail that led to Lake Michigan that was pretty meaningful for these two. It was a great time exploring! I’m so looking forward to working with them again next summer for their wedding!

Erin + Jeremy {Married}

It was a gorgeous day for Erin and Jeremy’s wedding at the Frauenthal Center in Muskegon. I had never been to the theatre before, but it was simply beautiful. Erin wanted something a bit different for the wedding and indeed it was. The ceremony was held on the stage in front of a closed curtain that revealed the reception set up behind it. The regal feel made for such an enchanting evening. The posh and retro dresses and hair, as well as her lovely, hip and elegant dress were a delight. Erin’s bouquet held special significance as it held brooches from her grandmothers. The reception also held some fun surprises, such as different china on each table and unique cheesecakes, which were super delicious! Fabulous day and such an honor to share in it with this super sweet couple.

Chelsea + Gary {Engaged}

Chelsea, Gary and their adorable pup Buck were so much fun to photograph! We hiked through the woods barefoot and got plenty muddy in the river. It was chilly but so beautiful! Chelsea and Gary have a lot of memories at the lake together so we launched the little boat and captured them fishing. I had such a blast with these two and I can’t wait for their wedding next September!

Lexi {Lake Michigan}

I was so excited when Matt and Caurey contacted me about doing photos of their family and their new little 3 month old Lexi. Caurey wanted to incorporate the beach into the photos and it couldn’t have turned out better! We had such a gorgeous morning in South Haven and little Winston had a blast digging holes in the sand on the beach. Lexi is an absolute doll. They could not be a sweeter family!

Kelly and Matt are absolutely the sweetest couple! It turned out to be an awesome day in Traverse City as we celebrated their wedding. It is so apparent how much Matt just absolutely adores Kelly. Every move that she makes, he is standing by in awe.:) Kelly had such an fabulous bridal party filled with so much fun and laughter. Every detail of their day was stunning, especially her.:)
