It was such a delight meeting this little girl and her family in person this past week! Nicole and I have become good friends through our girls clothing addiction. Nicole asked me about doing their family photos and Carli’s two year session this winter. They live a few hours away so they planned a camping trip into South Haven so we could do a beach session. I absolutely adore her lemonade stand idea and Carli’s adorable lemonade outfit! This family is just way to sweet all the way around and it was such a pleasure to spend time with them last week. Happy upcoming second birthday, Carli!

Sarah + Eric {Married}

It was a super hot and super fabulous day for Eric and Sarah’s wedding on Lake Michigan. Sarah and Eric were introduced to each other through one of Sarah’s long time friends, Hannah, and the wedding was on family property in Douglas, MI. It was so perfect as they cleared out the Dune Grass where the ceremony took place. Sarah was super chill and neither of them seemed too nervous at all, just ready to begin their lives together. They were super sweet and so fun. It was a pleasure to share their day!

Sara + Floyd {Married}

It was a lovely evening in Saugatuck as Sara and Floyd tied the knot at a private estate on Lake Michigan. A small, intimate ceremony with family made the celebration relaxing and enjoyable. It was great to be a part of their special day and I am also looking forward to their reception this fall.

Carter is growing up to be quite the little man! He wasn’t quite so sure about his first experience in the grass. It wasn’t really his favorite! It was pretty funny to see him raise his feet like he was terrified of it! Had a great time – he’s always so happy and full of smiles.

Nicole + Lawrence {Engaged}

Although it was a bit chilly and windy, we had a great time exploring South Haven for Nicole and Lawrence’s engagement photos. They are new to the area so it was a fun spot to get a good dose of Lake Michigan. Their pup was soo sweet and got to check out everything with us too! I love it when couples and families bring along their dogs!

I had such a fabulous time getting to know Liz and Ryan over our junkyard session.:) They are the sweetest couple and so is their pup!! A great time was had by all exploring the ruins and discovering new things. I’m so excited for them and to be a part of their wedding in July! Congratulations!

Michelle and Dan are such a cute couple. I love how Dan watches her constantly to make her laugh. In almost all of the photos you can tell he gets such a joy out of making her smile. I must say, I was VERY impressed with how these two could ride this bike. I thought it was just going to be a prop they had, but they actually use it and ride it around!! So looking forward to their wedding in August.

Van Horn Family Fun

A super fun morning spent with the Van Horn family in South Haven. The weather has been so hot so thankfully we got a very nice, overcast morning for our photos. These girls are so much fun and full of ideas. Little Tristan was so tired when we finished up with his sisters dragging him all over. These boys are definitely outnumbered!!

And the super, adorable little Rylee. She’s small, but boy is she mighty!

Had a great time with you guys! I LOVE to capture families having fun together!

Happy Mother’s Day

Today was such a great day with my family. I am so blessed to have both grandmother’s. I think they become more beautiful every single year. Of course my mother truly is my best friend though thick and thin and I am more thankful for her each year that passes. I know there are many more things she will teach me in my life time, but one of the biggest things she’s taught me is about time. I used to whine about not having enough time and she promptly set me straight and told me to never complain about not having enough time because we choose what we do with our time. I have been very careful ever since to choose wisely in whom and what I invest my time. Family became a huge priority for me after that conversation with her many years ago. It has helped me so much in managing my business. I do choose what I do with my time, and I so love and cherish the people with whom I spend it!
